My name is Sanna Arvidsson and my kennel, SvartAlfernas is located in Köping (15 mil from Stockholm). I bought my first dwarfpoodle from Monica Ericsson, Kennel Sexy Leg´s in Stallarholmen. I was expecting a bitch but there wasn´t any, and at that point I had no patient to wait so I bought a male and I also got a very good friend in Monica! Thats how my first Poodle "Arvid" came into our family! Now I have five bitches in my breeding programme, from four different countries, Pandorans Ain't she Sweet from Sweden (black), Pop-Up´s Soft Breeze Sweden (black), Canmoy´s Finlandia from Finland (brown), Brei-Ca´s Drama Queen from Denmark (White) and Fidel Playing With Fire from Norway (black)!


An explanation of the name "SvartAlfernas" :
"The black elves of Norse mythology who grew from the maggots of Ymir's flesh. They live in the earth and in stones. Although they have the shape of men, they are often miss shapen. Their home is Svartalfheim, which lies under the earth, and here they stay during daylight on pain of being turned to stone. The Svartalfar are often identified with the dvergar (dwarfs) and are hard to distinguish from the Döckálfar (the earth-dwelling ones)."
(I live in the north and i´m breeding black (and brown) Dwarf/Toy Poodles and I am of course very interested in the mythology!)
